Palmer Automation Returns Policy
At Palmer Automation, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction with every purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, please review our returns policy below.
1. General Returns
- Products may be returned within 5 days of receipt, provided they are in their original packaging and in unused, resalable condition.
- All returned items will be inspected upon arrival before a refund or exchange is processed.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a fault on our part.
- A restocking fee may apply to certain returns.
2. Faulty or Defective Products
- If you receive a faulty or defective product, please contact us immediately.
- Faulty products will be tested upon return.
- Depending on the test results, we will either refund or replace the item at our discretion.
- If the product is found to be in working condition or damaged due to improper use, no refund or replacement will be provided.
- Faulty products will generally be replaced; however, if the product was custom-made for a specific application, specially ordered (not a normally stocked item), or if a high volume or high-value order was placed and supplied, Palmer Automation reserves the right to deny a refund.
3. Non-Returnable Items
- Custom-made or special-order items cannot be returned unless they are defective.
- Items that have been used, modified, or damaged by the customer are not eligible for return.
- Software, downloadable products, and consumables (e.g., batteries, lubricants) are non-returnable once opened.
4. Refunds and Processing Time
- Approved refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
- Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to be processed.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
5. How to Initiate a Return
- Contact our support team at support@palmerautomation.nz with your order details and reason for return.
- Await return authorization and instructions.
- Securely package the item and send it to the return address provided.
- Keep tracking details for your return shipment.
