Description
This lithium battery pack provides backup power to absolute encoders (built into the servos). This battery clips onto the based of EL7/EL8 drives and connects to these encoder cables (Select the absolute version)
If there is a power cut or if a estop is press that cute power, the encoders will keep on measuring position, then when the controller is restarted the position will be know. For example, on a CNC machine you will be able to carry on with the job knowing the position will be correct.
