Sometimes a PLC or PC is just not up to the task of real-time parallel processing. This is needed when monitoring or measuring multiple inputs at high speed.

The PAC controller is FPGA based, developed and made by Palmer Automation.

It is actually a significant development for NZ industry. When was the last time a PLC was developed or ever made in New Zealand?
