This is a 400w servo product we have recently developed, we are using these in-place of the traditional induction motor / VSD combination. For one it costs less in many applications. With built-in drivers and programmable motion paths, it can be preprogramed to operate with no external controller or VSD! 48V DC operation means our customers can run wiring without an electrician. As worm gearboxes are little heat generators! we have design-in a fan that changes speed based on temperature. Also you only need 48v in and it generates 24v outputs for PLC inputs to keep wiring simple for fault outputs etc..
